Job summary

CFS seeks a Financial Controller to partner with executive leadership, build scalable accounting infrastructure, and drive process improvements. This role oversees project accounting across multiple entities and guides a growing team in a family-oriented organization with strong growth potential.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s in Accounting, prior controller experience, and exposure to job costing and Procore.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA designation is preferred.
• Requires prior Financial Controller or senior accounting leadership experience.
• Experience with job costing, WIP reporting, and project accounting is essential.
• Leadership of accounting staff and process improvements are expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop accounting team members.
• Oversee job costing, WIP reporting, project accounting, and construction accounting activities.
• Manage financial reporting, GL functions, reconciliations, and fixed assets.
• Drive process improvements, reporting enhancements, and workflow efficiencies.
• Provide financial insight and operational support to executive leadership.
• Oversee payroll, labor allocations, and accounting system integrations.
