Job summary

ARS-Rescue Rooter seeks a results-driven Controller to lead all accounting and financial activities for our Aurora and Denver operations. You will manage revenue recognition, budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting while partnering with the General Manager to drive profitability and strategic decisions.

The role requires strong GAAP knowledge, 6+ years in accounting with 3+ in leadership, and experience with ERP systems (JD Edwards preferred).

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related discipline; 6+ years in accounting and 3+ in management.
Proven experience as Financial Controller managing the accounting and finance operations for businesses $25M+.
GAAP knowledge required; CPA not required.
JD Edwards experience preferred; proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

Lead accounting and finance functions including revenue recognition, job costing, inventory, A/P, A/R.
Oversee month-end/year-end closes and financial reporting.
Provide direct support and partnership to the General Manager.
Coordinate with line managers on forecasts, cost improvements and profitability analyses.
Supervise and develop the accounting team; payroll oversight; research accounting issues as needed.
