Job summary

Ascape Landscape and Construction seeks an experienced Controller to lead financial reporting, internal controls, and tax compliance. You will direct payroll, manage the accounting team, and provide strategic financial analysis to support growth.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, 5+ years in finance or accounting (3+ years on staff management), strong GAAP knowledge, and proficiency with MS Office and integrated accounting systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
• 5+ years in finance or accounting roles, with 3+ years managing staff.
• GAAP/FASB knowledge and accounting principles required.
• Experience managing payroll operations and using costing tools.

Responsibilities

• Direct the preparation of financial statements and analyses.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements.
• Develop reports to identify opportunities to improve results or address risk.
• Develop systems to improve division and company performance.
• Lead, coach and develop the accounting team.
• Collaborate as a strategic member of the leadership team.
