Job summary

J2T Recruiting Consultants, Inc. seeks a seasoned Controller in Greeley, CO to lead the accounting and finance function during rapid growth. You will transition the company from cash‑basis to GAAP, implement internal controls, and build inventory tracking with ERP reporting.

Reporting to ownership, you will manage monthly close, prepare financial packages, and provide in-depth financial and operational analysis to guide strategic decisions and growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience with hands-on technical capability.
• Strong GAAP knowledge; CPA preferred.
• Experience preparing financial statements and cash forecasts with internal controls.
• Experience in oil & gas or field services environments preferred.
• Sage Intacct experience or similar ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead transition from cash-basis to GAAP across entities.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and monthly close.
• Design and implement internal controls and cash forecasting templates.
• Build inventory tracking system and select supporting software.
• Enhance Sage Intacct usage with custom reports and module optimizations.
• Provide detailed financial and operational analysis to ownership and support growth plans.
