Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Olympia, WA seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to lead financial planning, analysis, and strategic evaluation of corporate initiatives.

You will provide comprehensive financial support to senior management and logistics leaders, driving cost efficiencies and robust reporting. The role requires 4+ years in finance/accounting, strong knowledge of income statements and balance sheets, and advanced Excel skills for large data analysis and modeling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration, finance, accounting or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years Finance and/or Accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of income statements and balance sheets.
• Intermediate level MS Excel skills for analyzing large data sets, vlookups/hlookups, creating pivot tables, filtering options, waterfall charts.

Responsibilities

• Forecasting, planning, and branch performance analysis.
• Identify opportunities for cost/productivity improvements with GLM/LM.
• Lead month-end closing, variances, and general ledger research.
• Oversee customer invoicing and revenue posting to the general ledger.
• Provide financial training to operations staff using defined policies and tools.
• Support Sarbanes-Oxley compliance audits and liaise with Shared Services.
