Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to lead planning, evaluation, and strategic financial support for corporate initiatives.

The role interacts with senior financial management and logistics leaders to drive analytics and decision-making across the organization. The position requires a bachelor's or master's degree in business, finance, or accounting, and at least 4 years of finance experience, with strong proficiency in financial statements and MS Excel.

Qualifications

• Must have Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration, finance, accounting or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years Finance and/or Accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of income statements and balance sheets.
• Intermediate MS Excel skills: large data sets, vlookups, pivot tables, filters, waterfall charts.

Responsibilities

• Financial Planning & Analysis: forecasting, business planning, branch performance analysis.
• Work with GLM/LM to identify cost/productivity improvements.
• Month-End Closing: journal entries, variance explanations, GL research.
• Customer invoicing and revenue posting to GL; monitor aging reports.
• Provide financial training to operations staff on policies and tools.
• Support Sarbanes-Oxley compliance; liaise with Shared Services and Corporate Accounting.
