Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Finance Segment Manager to lead financial analysis, planning, and data mining for assigned business segments. The role supports FP&A and Segment reporting, coordinating across Operations, IT, and Sales to deliver timely insights.

Strong technical skills and a detail-oriented approach are required to manage reporting and modeling tasks. Responsibilities include close activities, P&L reviews, driver analysis, and presenting forecasts to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance, Required
• Master's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance, Preferred
• 6+ years in Accounting/Finance or related field, Required
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
• Workday and Adaptive Insights, Intermediate/Preferred
• Programming and relational DB design/query, Intermediate, Preferred
• Microsoft PowerBI, preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage financials of assigned accounts/product lines, including monthly close
• Consolidate, prepare, and analyze financial data; communicate results to senior leadership
• Lead cross-location projects and collaborate with Operations, Finance, IT, and Sales
• Provide coaching and delegation of work to lower level professionals
• Conduct periodic audits of operations to ensure controls
