Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Finance Segment Manager to lead financial analysis, planning and data mining for business segments.

You will support FP&A Finance/Segments and coordinate with multiple departments to deliver actionable insights and timely financial reporting. The role requires a detailed, collaborative, and highly technical candidate who can manage close processes, perform variance analysis, and drive improvements across locations under pressure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance Required.
• Master's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance Preferred.
• 6+ years in Accounting/Finance or related field Required.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Required.
• Workday and Adaptive Insights Intermediate Preferred.
• Programming and/or relational database design/query Intermediate Preferred.
• Microsoft PowerBI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage financials of assigned accounts/product lines including monthly close, P&L review, accrual analysis, revenue reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Consolidate, analyze, and communicate financial results; coordinate with Operations, Finance, Accounting, IT, and Sales; present to senior leadership.
