Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Finance Segment Manager to lead financial analysis, planning and data mining for its business segments. You will coordinate with Operations, Finance, Accounting, IT and Sales to deliver timely results and present insights to leadership.

The role requires strong analytical, collaborative, and organizational skills, with a focus on accurate reporting and agile problem solving in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 6+ years in accounting/finance or related field.
• Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Workday and Adaptive Insights intermediate preferred.
• Programming or relational database design/query intermediate preferred.
• Microsoft PowerBI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage financials of accounts/product lines including monthly close, P&L review.
• Consolidate, analyze data and communicate findings to upper management.
• Lead various projects across locations.
• Coach and delegate work to junior staff.
• Conduct periodic audits to ensure controls.
