Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Finance Segment Manager to lead financial analysis, planning, and data mining for its segments. You will support FP&A and coordinate with Operations, IT, and Sales to deliver timely insights and results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting and/or finance required.
• Master's degree in accounting and/or finance preferred.
• 6+ years in accounting/finance or related field required.
• Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint) advanced required.
• Workday and Adaptive Insights intermediate preferred.
• Programming and/or relational database design/query intermediate preferred.
• Microsoft PowerBI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage financials of assigned accounts/product lines including monthly close, P&L review, accrual analysis, revenue reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Consolidate, prepare, and analyze data; coordinate with Operations, Finance, Accounting, IT, and Sales; present close results and forecasts to senior leadership.
• Lead miscellaneous projects across multiple locations.
• Provide coaching and delegation of work to junior staff.
• Conduct periodic audits of operations to ensure internal controls.
