Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior finance professional to support the Power Controller function. You will lead strategic initiatives, drive process improvements, and coordinate accounting, reporting, and operational projects across the power energy portfolio.

The role requires extensive cross-functional collaboration, strong SAP expertise, and a track record of delivering complex programs on time. CPA/MBA/PMP are a plus, with emphasis on digital transformation and scalable controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in accounting, finance, consulting, business operations, project management, or related disciplines.
• Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting concepts.
• Experience leading complex cross-functional projects.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Advanced knowledge of SAP.
• Experience with process improvement, automation, system implementations, or digital transformation initiatives preferred.
• CPA, MBA, or PMP certification considered a plus.
• Must legally work in the country of the vacancy and comply with applicable immigration requirements if not a citizen.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic initiatives across the Power Controller organization and coordinate cross-functional projects.
• Drive business process improvements and develop project plans with milestones.
• Partner with teams to simplify processes and improve data quality.
• Support integration of new assets, businesses, and organizational changes into accounting and reporting.
• Coordinate activities across accounting, finance, operations, tax, treasury and other functions.
• Assist with scalable controls, reporting frameworks, and monthly close processes.
• Participate in evaluating new systems, tools, and reporting capabilities.
