Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior leader to define and drive the Finance Transformation strategy, operating model, and governance across a global organization. You will advise the CFO on investments, coordinate technology and analytics roadmaps, and embed AI-enabled capabilities into workflows.

The role requires leading large-scale programs in regulated environments, strong stakeholder influence, and the ability to align finance with enterprise strategy.

Qualifications

• In-depth expertise in Finance transformation, including operating model design, technology enablement, analytics modernization, governance, and strategic execution.
• Proven ability to advise executive and senior Finance leaders, influencing decisions with long-term and enterprise implications.
• Extensive experience leading large-scale, complex transformation initiatives in highly regulated, global environments.
• Strong enterprise judgement, balancing strategic ambition with governance, risk, and control considerations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead through other leaders—aligning and influencing senior stakeholders without relying on direct execution ownership.
• Strong strategic, systems, and data perspective—integrating Finance, technology, data, and operational considerations.
• Ability to communicate complex strategic topics clearly and persuasively to Executive Leadership and senior stakeholders.
• Periodic travel will be required
• Hybrid or in-office presence aligned with senior leadership expectations

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the Finance Transformation strategy, roadmap, and target operating model.
• Advise the CFO on transformation investment, capability development, modernization priorities, and key decisions.
• Coordinate Finance technology, data, and analytics roadmaps with BTS, Data, and Risk.
• Embed advanced analytics and AI-enabled capabilities into Finance workflows.
• Establish and lead governance for the Finance transformation portfolio.
• Build alignment across Finance leadership and enterprise stakeholders on target operating models and future-state processes.
• Oversee major Finance transformation programs and monitor benefits and outcomes.
• Evaluate Finance operating structures, resource deployment, and capability requirements.
• Develop and enhance Finance policies, operating standards, governance frameworks, and transformation practices.
• Represent Finance transformation in senior leadership forums.
• Drive improvements in Finance cost-to-serve, cycle times, controls, reporting, analytics, standardized tools, and strategic decision support.
