Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a senior finance leader to drive Lead Accounting and FP&A efforts for our Power Generation line. You will design end-to-end finance operating models, guide ERP enhancements, and establish scalable processes across finance functions.

You will partner with IT and stakeholders to build robust internal controls, SOX-compliant policies, and comprehensive reporting packages while guiding cross-functional teams through transformation initiatives and cost improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 10+ years in accounting/finance or business transformation.
• Experience in energy, midstream, oil & gas, utilities, or infrastructure industries.
• Experience implementing/enhancing ERP and operational systems.
• Strong understanding of accounting and FP&A processes.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
• Change management and project/program leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead Accounting and FP&A workstreams for the Power Generation line of business.
• Develop the end-to-end finance operating model for the Power Generation business.
• Identify finance capabilities required to support new operations.
• Create implementation roadmaps and transition plans from project development into ongoing operations.
• Design and implement operational accounting, project reporting, financial close, and KPI reporting processes.
• Partner with IT to assess ERP functionality and implement systems for measurement and reporting.
• Serve as Accounting lead across multiple business functions.
• Design SOX-compliant processes and internal controls.
• Establish accounting policies for new transaction types and regulatory reporting.
