Job summary

Moody's Investors Service seeks a Finance Business Partner to support the Ratings Technology and Cyber Security organizations within Shared Services. You will own financial planning, investment prioritization, and decision support across the technology portfolio.

You will forecast, budget, and model scenarios, translating business plans into actionable insights for senior leadership while driving efficiency and automation in finance processes.

Qualifications

• 6–9 years of experience in FP&A or related financial analysis roles.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel with ability to design, build, validate, and maintain robust financial models.
• Advanced financial modelling, forecasting, scenario planning, and investment analysis skills.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and tech investment impacts.
• Experience with data visualization and BI tools, including Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Ratings Technology and Cyber Security leaders to align financial planning, resource allocation, investment priorities, and business outcomes.
• Support monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and long-range planning with data packs.
• Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and scenario analyses translating assumptions into actionable recommendations.
• Provide insightful analysis on operating expenses, investments, headcount, and contractor spend.
• Prepare executive-level presentations and business cases for leadership reviews using Power BI.
