Job summary

Mastercard Technology is seeking a Manager, Finance Business Partner to provide financial guidance, reporting, planning and ad-hoc analysis across Technology divisions. You will lead monthly close, budgets, forecasts and variance analysis, building models and dashboards to drive decisions in a fast-paced, global environment.

The role emphasizes leadership, stakeholder management, and strategic use of AI to improve budgeting and forecasting processes. Hybrid in-office work policy applies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or equivalent combination of education and work experience in a financial analysis role.
• Advanced degree (MBA, Master’s) or professional certification (CMA, CPA) a plus.
• Proficiency with MS Office and enterprise ERP/Planning systems.
• Experience in IT financial management and accounting is beneficial.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide divisional financial reporting, identify financial risks & opportunities, and provide recommendations to leadership to achieve financial targets for assigned division(s) within Technology.
• Coordinate and lead the annual budget process, including assessing risks, cost pressures, contractual increases, and business- or volume-driven impacts.
• Manage financial close and forecast, including analysis of KPIs and P&L variances against budget, forecasts, prior year actuals, and initiatives for month and quarter end processes; manage parameter inputs (e.g., Hyperion load).
• Assist with strategy and process improvements including the use of AI, related to budgeting, forecasting, systems and other key areas to ensure alignment with market objectives; identify ways to improve processes.
• Embody leading beyond finance by developing, running and maintaining financial/business models to analyze performance and opportunities (e.g. dashboards, KPIs).
• Identify, analyze, and communicate trends and issues affecting the business and help mitigate risks.
