Job summary

Moody's Investors Service is seeking a senior leader to drive Finance data strategy and roadmap development. The role partners with engineering, analytics, and automation to deliver end-to-end data products in a dynamic, global finance function.

You will prototype solutions with SQL/Python, oversee BRDs/FDDs, and guide a small team of data strategists, strengthening data governance and innovation across Moody’s Finance organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years delivering finance data/tech solutions across key financial domains in a SOX environment.
• Exposure to enterprise finance/data platforms; translate business needs into scalable solutions.
• Proven leadership of a small team of data strategists.

Responsibilities

• Set direction and own delivery outcomes for Finance data products across engineering, analytics, and automation teams.
• Own and evolve the strategic data roadmap for Finance and align with stakeholder outcomes.
• Lead solution design from problem to engineering-ready specifications with BRDs/FDDs.
• Prototype solutions using SQL, Python, and AI-assisted tools with hands-on finance domain expertise.
• Act as data strategy lead on Finance programs and mentor a team of data strategists.
