Corning is seeking a Lead Finance Business Partner for Corning Environmental Technologies, a $1.6 billion business. You will drive financial planning, analysis, and governance to support leadership across Light Duty and Heavy Duty segments.

The role requires 8+ years in finance, strong FP&A skills, and expertise in GAAP, Excel, and ERP systems. Located in Corning, NY with minimal travel and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of progressive finance experience including FP&A, controlling, or business finance.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
• Solid working knowledge of US GAAP and financial controls.
• Proven ability to partner with and influence business leaders.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with enterprise financial systems (SAP, OneStream, PeopleSoft, Blackline) or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Act as lead finance partner to Light Duty and Heavy Duty business leadership, providing financial insight and decision support.
• Drive planning and performance management through annual operating plans, rolling forecasts, long-range planning, variance analysis, and financial modeling.
• Support profitability improvement by evaluating pricing, cost initiatives, margins, investments and other KPIs.
• Deliver financial reporting and presentations with clear, actionable insights for leaders.
• Ensure governance and compliance with US GAAP, internal controls, policies and audit requirements.
• Lead process improvement and digital finance initiatives to improve forecasting accuracy and automation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Commercial, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Finance teams.
