Job summary

Corning is seeking a Senior Business Analyst (Finance) for its Solar manufacturing operations. You will partner with operations, engineering, supply chain and site leadership to understand plant performance, manage costs, analyze financial results, and support strategic decision-making.

The role requires manufacturing experience, budgeting, forecasting, cost management, and month-end close activities, with a focus on driving improvements across finance processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in finance, FP&A, cost accounting, or plant/operations finance.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
• Ability to work independently and provide financial recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with manufacturing, operations, engineering, and supply chain leaders to monitor performance and drive financial results.
• Lead monthly financial reporting, analysis, and close activities for the division.
• Analyze results vs. budget/forecast and explain variances.
• Support cost analysis, performance reporting, and financial recommendations.
• Monitor spending and identify cost-reduction opportunities.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Develop financial reporting, KPIs, and operational metrics.
