Corning Inc. is seeking a Capital Finance Controller to ensure governance for capital projects, accurate reporting, and strategic financial support for investment decisions.

You will partner with plant leadership and cross-functional teams to optimize capital spend, forecast performance, and drive process improvements. The role requires 2–5 years of related experience, a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience; manufacturing or cost accounting preferred.
• Controller experience, within or outside Corning, desired.

Responsibilities

• Ensures compliance for capital projects with GAAP and Corning policies.
• Manages capital reporting and forecasting for the division; supports investment proposals.
• Leads annual capital audit preparation and presentations to leadership.
• Maintains spend tracking, AR preparation, and ad hoc analyses.
• Drives digital initiatives related to capital processes and policy improvements.
• Provides financial modeling support and maintains AR workbook.
