Corning is seeking a Senior Finance Business Analyst in Charlotte, NC to drive financial analysis and reporting across a multi-billion dollar BU.

The role partners with finance, manufacturing and IT to deliver accurate, decision-ready insights, automate processes, and standardize reporting. You will advance a digital-first finance culture with scalable, transparent tools and dashboards.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 5-10 years of progressive finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, monthly close, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.
• Business analyst mindset with experience gathering requirements and solutions.
• Strong analytical skills to identify trends and actionable recommendations.
• Experience with Power BI, Power Query, Databricks, and reporting tools; familiarity with SAP/ERP systems.
• Excellent communication, presentation, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.

Mansioni

• Partner with finance and manufacturing leadership to provide financial analysis and insights across Revenue, OpEx, cost performance, product line P&L, and margins.
• Translate business questions into analyses, reporting solutions, and decision-support tools.
• Manage Power BI reporting and develop dashboards and self-service reporting for daily access to financial data.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting requirements and key metrics aligned with business priorities.
• Analyze processes to identify improvements, standardize reporting, and enhance efficiency and scalability.
• Develop and maintain reporting definitions, data logic, and documentation for transparency.
• Support month-end close and planning processes including Forecast, Green Book, and Black Book.
• Contribute to special projects involving plants, finance teams, commercial teams, and IT/data partners.
• Support business case development, scenario modeling, and ad hoc analyses for growth decisions.
• Identify data quality issues and system gaps; work with teams to resolve them.
