Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Sector in Redondo Beach, CA seeks a Finance Manager – Manager Level 3 to lead the Financial Management function for the Communications & Networking Business Unit and partner with senior leadership on strategy. You will develop and maintain forecasts, lead monthly/quarterly/annual planning, manage EAC profitability, and ensure compliance with SOX, FAR/CAS while coaching staff.

Required: Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years (or Master’s with 6+), plus 5+ years in leadership;

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of professional experience including people management
• Master’s degree with 6+ years of professional experience including people management
• 5+ years of leadership experience
• Cognos experience
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate financial forecasts
• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual operating financial planning and reporting for the business unit
• Participate in the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) / Long-Range Strategic Plan (LRSP) forecast development
• Manage financial accounting/reporting including EAC contract profitability assessments/reviews
• Ensure SOX, FAR and CAS compliance and staff development
