Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Redondo Beach, CA, seeks a Finance Manager – Manager Level 3 to lead financial planning and control for the Communications & Networking Business Unit.

You will develop forecasts, manage monthly/annual plans, ensure SOX, FAR/CAS compliance, and coach the business management team.

The role offers a 9/80 schedule, relocation assistance may be available, and a comprehensive Total Rewards package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of professional experience including people management.
• Master’s degree with 6+ years of professional experience including people management.
• 5+ years of leadership experience.
• Business Management experience.
• COGNOS experience.
• Ability to travel up to 10% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate financial forecasts
• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual operating financial planning and reporting activity for the business unit
• Participate in the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) / Long-Range Strategic Plan (LRSP) forecast development
• Manage financial accounting/reporting, including Estimate-at-Complete (EAC) contract profitability assessments/reviews, cash flow/balance sheet management
• Ensure SOX compliance and FAR/CAS regulations
• Oversee staffing, performance management and coaching of the Business Management staff
• Other duties as assigned
