Job summary

Serve Robotics is seeking a Manager, Strategic Finance to partner with the CEO and COO, shaping where we invest and how we grow. You’ll lead the analysis behind strategic prioritization, market sizing, NPV/IRR, capital budgeting, and investment cases for new markets and partnerships.

You’ll own the planning and forecasting foundation, including the budget, long-range plan, and Pigment environment, and develop KPI metrics and executive-ready narratives for leadership and investors.

Qualifications

• 6-8+ years of progressive strategic finance experience in a tech/rapid-growth environment.
• Ownership of capital budgeting, valuation analysis (NPV/IRR), and market sizing.
• Experience building multi-year financial models and investment cases for executive review.
• Ability to partner with C-level executives (CEO/COO) and influence decisions.
• Curiosity to learn operating business gains and translate into forecasts.
• Own budget, rolling forecast, and long-range planning; KPI framework.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel; familiarity with Pigment.
• Strong accounting knowledge and experience with ERP systems (NetSuite).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Comfort with ambiguity and evolving priorities in a fast-scaling org.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic prioritization and investment decision frameworks.
• Own capital budgeting models for deployments, pricing changes, and new markets.
• Size TAM/SAM and unit economics to underpin targets and long-range plans.
• Maintain sum-of-the-parts analyses to guide portfolio and resource allocation.
• Model M&A and partnerships; track post-deal performance vs original case.
• Own the long-range plan and translate strategy into a multi-year financial model.
• Define KPIs and unit economics tying to financials and value creation.
• Deliver executive-ready presentations and financial narratives for leadership.
