Job summary

Serve Robotics seeks a Manager, Strategic Finance to shape where we invest and how we grow. This role partners with the CEO/COO and leads analysis on strategic prioritization, market sizing, NPV/IRR, and investment cases for new markets and partnerships.

The role requires deep understanding of fleet deployment, unit economics, and cost structure, and will own the budgeting, long-range plan, and Pigment planning environment. Austin, TX preferred with potential for team-building.

Qualifications

• 6-8+ years of progressive experience in strategic finance, corporate finance, investment banking, corporate development, or FP&A with significant strategic scope.
• Demonstrated ownership of strategic finance work, including capital budgeting, target or market sizing, and M&A or partnership modeling.
• Experience building and defending multi-year financial models and investment cases in front of executives, boards, or investors.
• Proven ability to partner directly with CEO/COO and influence senior leadership through analysis.
• Ambition to learn operating business from ground up and translate to better forecasts.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic prioritization for the business and frame trade-offs across initiatives.
• Own capital budgeting and investment analysis, build NPV/IRR/payback models and scenario analyses.
• Size targets and market opportunities (TAM/SAM) to underpin goals and long-range plan.
• Build and maintain sum-of-the-parts analyses to compare business lines, products, and markets.
• Lead financial modeling for M&A, partnerships, and commercial agreements.
• Own the long-range strategic plan with multi-year financial model and growth assumptions.
• Define KPI and unit-economics framework aligned to the financial model.
• Prepare executive-ready presentations, valuation outputs, and financial narratives.
