Job summary

RobCo is seeking a Strategic Finance Manager to own financial modeling, budgeting, and capital allocation across the US and Europe. The role partners with leaders in Product, Engineering, and GTM to build robust operating models and drive data-informed decisions.

Based in Austin with a strong preference for in-office presence twice weekly; remote considered case-by-case. You will influence board-level reporting and lead strategic cash-flow analyses in a fast-growing robotics scale-up.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in Strategic Finance or FP&A within a high-growth tech company.
• Comfort modeling hardware-driven businesses and unit economics.
• Strong financial modeling for non-finance stakeholders.
• Experience with ERP/EPM/GL and AI-enabled tools.
• Experience supporting exec decision-making across Product, Eng, GTM.
• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets; SQL/BI tools like Looker/Tableau.
• Willingness to work with a global team (Munich).
• A true player-coach, hands-on with details and people development.

Responsibilities

• Drive RobCo’s financial model; distill inputs into key insights for decisions.
• Partner with department heads to build budgets and headcount plans.
• Lead internal reporting for stakeholders and the board.
• Support US financial processes with the Financial Operations team and CFO.
• Provide monthly variance analysis and cash burn recommendations.
• Contribute to US non-dilutive financing analysis and execution.
