Specialized Recruiting Group - Metro East Area, Illinois seeks a seasoned finance professional to partner with senior management in developing strategic financial plans. You will manage data-heavy analysis, drive decision-making, and provide regular, high-quality financial reporting.

The role focuses on construction accounting, forecasting, and ensuring compliance across policies and contracts, working closely with leadership to optimize profitability and cash flow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance or related field; 5–7 years of relevant experience.
• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial meetings.
• Complete financial accounting and forecasting as well as cash flow projections.
• Deliver job cost reports, earned revenue, WIP schedules, change orders, and metrics to leadership.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, tax regulations, audit requirements, and contractual obligations.
• Strong knowledge of construction accounting, job costing, revenue recognition, budgeting and forecasting, and financial analysis.
