Employment Resource Group, Inc. is seeking a seasoned finance leader to guide financial strategy and long-range planning while owning day-to-day accounting. The role requires construction accounting expertise and maturity to shape a growing company.

As a senior member of the leadership team, you will build a high-performing finance function, optimize cash flow, and partner with operations to scale the business responsibly in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–10 years of progressive accounting/finance experience with leadership responsibilities
• Construction accounting experience is required; fire protection industry a plus
• Experience with project accounting software; proficiency in QuickBooks with project accounting functionality or similar system

Responsibilities

• Advise President and senior leadership on financial strategy, annual planning, and long-range forecasting while supervising accounting operations (AP, AR, payroll, GL)
• Build and develop a high-performing finance team with KPIs, mentoring, and succession planning
• Oversee project accounting, job costing, WIP, profitability, billing accuracy, and revenue recognition; manage cash flow and banking relationships
• Own ERP and financial reporting systems, ensure data integrity, and build dashboards for decision-making
• Ensure multi-state tax compliance and coordinate with outside advisors
