Job summary

The Nature Conservancy seeks a Finance Manager to lead financial planning, reporting, and strategic guidance for the Georgia/Florida business unit. You will partner with leadership and conservation teams to translate strategy into operational execution, ensuring timely, accurate financial insights and strong financial stewardship.

Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and governance support, with remote/hybrid work options and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration or related field.
• Experience with financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Experience with GAAP and accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial leadership for the assigned business unit.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and long-range financial activities.
• Deliver high-quality financial reporting and complex analyses to support decision-making.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities and recommend actions.
• Ensure internal controls and compliance with policies and donor requirements.
• Partner with leadership to implement financial strategies and improve performance.
