ON.energy is recruiting an Associate for the Corporate Development team in New York. Reporting to the Head of Investment Finance, you will work on capital formation, M&A, investor materials, and corporate strategy as ON.energy scales in energy transition and digital infrastructure.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in investment banking, demonstrated live deal ownership, and strong modeling, Excel and PowerPoint skills. Hybrid role with regular NYC office presence and some travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field.
• Demonstrated deal experience across M&A and/or debt and/or equity capital raises with meaningful ownership of live transactions.
• Strong technical skills including building three-statement, DCF, LBO/returns, and merger models from scratch.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with a track record of producing board- and investor-ready materials.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with senior executives, investors, and advisors.

Responsabilités

• Support corporate capital formation end to end, from investor targeting through diligence and close.
• Build and maintain financial models, valuation analyses, and capitalization tables.
• Prepare investor materials and manage data rooms, diligence processes, and investor relationships.
• Lead or coordinate with external advisors (banks, counsel, investors) through execution.
• Develop board and executive materials and identify new growth opportunities and market adjacencies.
