Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is seeking a versatile Accounting & Finance Manager to support technical accounting, M&A transactions, and financial reporting. You will move beyond research to practically implement guidance across the business, working cross-functionally to evaluate complex transactions and support SEC disclosures.

The role requires U.S. GAAP knowledge, strong analytical skills, and experience with Workiva, Alteryx, and AI-enabled tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA, CIA, MBA, or equivalent designation preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and technical accounting.

Responsibilities

• Research and document accounting treatment for complex transactions under U.S. GAAP.
• Support acquisition and divestiture accounting and fair value assessments.
• Prepare technical memos, journal entries, SEC disclosures, and footnotes.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with Legal, Development, and Finance teams.
• Manage multiple projects, timelines, and stakeholder communications.
• Analyze large datasets to improve reporting using analytics tools.
• Support external audits with accounting analyses and documentation.
• Provide updates to senior leadership on accounting impacts and project status.
