Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is seeking a Manager of Strategic Finance & FP&A to lead planning, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis across the organization. This remote role collaborates with executive leadership to translate data into actionable insights and drive strategic decisions.

The ideal candidate has strong financial modeling skills, experience in tech or subscription-based businesses, and the ability to influence senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of FP&A, strategic finance, or related roles.
• Experience with financial modeling, forecasting, and cash flow.
• Experience in tech or subscription-based businesses is a plus.
• Ability to present complex analyses to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead company-wide budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and long-range financial planning.
• Partner with business leaders to develop forecasts, improve planning accuracy, and evaluate financial performance.
• Build financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic initiatives, investments, and resource-allocation decisions.
• Develop and monitor financial and operational metrics that provide leadership with greater visibility into business performance.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages, including variance analyses, financial trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Partner with executive leadership on corporate development, growth initiatives, and other strategic projects.
• Collaborate with commercial and operational teams to understand business drivers and translate changes into updated financial plans.
• Perform ad hoc financial analyses and develop executive-ready recommendations that support data-driven decisions.
• Improve FP&A processes, reporting capabilities, and planning tools as the organization continues to grow.
