Job summary

Keysight Technologies seeks a Senior Director of Finance for the Electronic Industrial Solutions Group (EISG). The role partners with the EISG President and CFO to drive profitable growth, optimize resource allocation, and support strategic decision-making across the business.

The incumbent will lead FP&A, governance, and business partnership for EISG, with accountability for forecast accuracy, financial reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives, including AI-driven analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field required.
• CPA and/or MBA preferred.
• Fifteen or more years of progressive financial leadership experience with a publicly traded company, high-growth private company, or equivalent organization.
• Demonstrated success as a strategic business partner to senior leaders in a complex global business.
• Strong business acumen with ability to translate financial analysis into actionable recommendations.
• Deep understanding of financial planning, forecasting, business performance management, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Experience leading finance organizations within a complex, matrixed global company.
• Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions, business integrations, pricing decisions, and strategic investment evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall financial leadership for EISG, a $2B externally reported business segment, ensuring the organization achieves its financial commitments.
• Serve as the primary financial advisor to the EISG President and leadership team, providing objective analysis and strategic insight to improve performance.
• Lead the development of the annual operating plan, long-range strategic plan, and quarterly forecasts.
• Drive disciplined capital allocation across R&D investments, acquisitions, capex, and opex to maximize long-term growth and profitability.
• Partner with business leaders to accelerate revenue growth, expand software mix and ARR, and enhance profitability.
• Lead the financial evaluation and prioritization of R&D investments aligned with strategy.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives across EISG and enterprise functions.
• Lead transformation of the finance function by championing AI and advanced analytics for forecasting and reporting.
• Monitor performance and market trends; recommend actions to optimize performance while maintaining agility.
• Collaborate with Corporate Development on M&A, divestitures, and strategic investments.
• Provide financial leadership for strategic customer opportunities, pricing decisions, and complex agreements to maximize growth while managing risk.
• Ensure SOX compliance, revenue recognition, internal controls, and policy adherence.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting with Enterprise Finance and Investor Relations teams.
• Develop meaningful financial and operational metrics and actionable insights.
• Build and develop a high-performing finance organization with a culture of collaboration and accountability.
