Job summary

Blake’s Orchard & Cider Mill in Armada, Michigan seeks a Director of Finance to own the company’s financial strategy, planning, and performance. This senior role partners with the President and ownership on capital investments, banking relationships, and long‑range health across a seasonally driven, multi‑channel farm business.

You will lead the finance function with the Controller, guide department leaders on financial plans, and drive rigorous analysis and reporting to support decision making

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
• Strong command of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting standards.
• Advanced Excel and ERP proficiency.
• Experience partnering with executive leadership on strategic financial decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own the financial strategy, planning, and performance for Blake’s Orchard & Cider Mill.
• Lead the finance function and partner with the President and ownership.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range capital strategy.
• Manage cash flow, treasury, and banking relationships.
• Oversee financial reporting, controls, and tax planning.
