OpenAI, Inc. is seeking a Strategic Finance Generalist to drive strategic decisions across transactions, capital markets, and cross-functional initiatives. The role is based in San Francisco with a hybrid model (3 days in the office per week) and relocation support for new hires.

You will partner with Research, Data, and Corporate Development, create presentations, and distill financial drivers into actionable insights to guide growth and resource allocation.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years in management consulting, investment banking, private equity or buy-side investing with strategy/ops at a tech company.
• Strong ability to evaluate opportunities and risks in financials.
• Ability to distill complex financial data into actionable insights and communicate with leadership.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across functions.

Aufgaben

• Support strategic projects spanning transactions, capital markets, market research, and new business models.
• Provide occasional finance business partnership to Research and other teams.
• Create high-quality presentations communicating financial performance.
• Distill business and cost drivers into key metrics for planning and growth.
• Identify opportunities across P&L, cash flow and balance sheet.
• Stay current on market trends and benchmarks.
• Collaborate with Accounting and Corporate Finance to evolve financial reporting and finance operations.
