Job summary

OpenAI is seeking an experienced M&A Finance Integration Lead in San Francisco, CA to own and scale our finance integration model across the full lifecycle. This cross‑functional, transactions‑driven role demands structure amid ambiguity and the ability to translate deal terms into executable workplans that drive successful integrations and financial risk mitigation.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience across M&A, deal integration and finance transformation.
Experience leading multiple concurrent M&A integrations with cross‑functional dependencies.
Strong understanding of deal accounting, controls and reporting.
Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field; CPA or MBA a plus.

Responsibilities

Define and build scalable M&A finance integration frameworks.
Drive execution across multiple, simultaneous M&A integrations.
Ensure timely, accurate M&A diligence including historical financials, revenue, equity, tax, and procurement.
Lead integration planning for deal close readiness across accounting, valuation, payroll, banking, entities, and controls.
Translate deal terms and integration strategy into actionable workplans, timelines, and dependencies.
Ensure on track deal execution accounting, operational integration, systems cutover, and reporting.
Proactively surface post‑close deal integration risks and drive mitigation plans.
