Job summary

Formlabs in Somerville, MA seeks a Director of Strategic Finance to guide long-range planning and capital allocation. You will partner with the CFO and executive team to translate complex business questions into rigorous financial models and actionable narratives.

You will own board-ready materials, lead cross-functional pricing, market-entry, and GTM analyses, and shape annual operating plans with a clear bottom-up reality.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of progressive experience in strategic finance or related field.
• At least 3–4 years in in-house strategic finance or corporate strategy at a scaling company.
• Track record building board materials and presenting to C-suite or board audiences.
• Strong financial modeling skills with large data sets and Excel/Sheets.

Responsibilities

• Own long-range financial plan integrating product lines, geographies, and channels.
• Build board materials and executive dashboards with KPI analyses.
• Lead cross-functional strategic projects including pricing strategy, market-entry analyses, and GTM investment cases.
• Develop financial frameworks for decision making and portfolio prioritization.
• Partner with CFO and Head of Finance to shape the annual operating plan and ensure bottom-up reality.
