Job summary

C/A Design, Inc., part of the Heico Companies, operates a state-of-the-art facility in Exeter, NH and a manufacturing site in Raleigh, NC. The Business Unit Controller will lead all finance operations, drive strategic planning, and partner with site leadership to optimize profitability.

This senior role reports to the Vice President of Finance for the Thermal Solutions Segment and offers growth opportunities within a high-precision manufacturing environment that values continuous improvement and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; MBA or CPA desirable.
15+ years progressive Accounting/Finance experience.
5+ years’ leadership in a multi-site manufacturing facility (AS9100 preferred).
Strong cost accounting, general ledger, AP/AR, payroll and financial acumen.
Lean and continuous improvement mindset; ability to drive process improvements.

Responsibilities

Close monthly financials and year-end cycles per corporate deadlines.
Prepare financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and analyze variances.
Coordinate inter-company transactions and oversee AP/AR with Shared Services.
Develop rolling forecasts and improve forecasting accuracy.
Lead audits with Internal/External teams and ensure GAAP compliance.
