SPS North America seeks a Controller to join our Pittsburgh team. You will partner with business leaders to translate financial data into actionable insights, drive profitability, and strengthen financial performance across the organization.

This role goes beyond traditional controllership, leading month-end close, forecasting, and P&L management, and identifying opportunities to improve margins, cost efficiency, and contract economics.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in accounting, financial reporting, month-end close, and P&L management.
• Commercially oriented finance professional who understands how operational decisions affect profitability.
• Proven track record of improving margins, cost savings, or revenue growth.
• Experience leading P&L reviews and partnering with business leaders.
• Experience with white space analysis to identify growth opportunities.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Big Four firm experience is a plus; prior work in large B2B services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial reporting, month-end close, forecasting, and P&L management.
• Lead weekly and monthly P&L reviews with business partners.
• Identify profitability improvements through cost optimization and revenue growth.
• Conduct white space analysis to uncover growth opportunities.
• Partner with Operations, Sales, and Finance leadership on contract economics and cost structures.
• Challenge assumptions and translate financial analysis into actionable recommendations.
• Strengthen financial processes, reporting, and controls to support decision-making.
