Job summary

SPS is seeking a Financial Controller to oversee controllership activities for one of its North American business lines. The role focuses on accurate, timely financial reporting, monthly close, forecasting, and process improvements, while partnering with Finance, Operations and Sales.

The successful candidate will lead P&L reviews, provide financial insights, and drive control enhancements. A hands-on leader with strong communication and relationship-building is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• 5–7+ years of accounting, finance, financial controlling or related experience.
• 10–12 years of progressive finance experience preferred.
• Strong experience with financial reporting, month-end close, P&L analysis, forecasting and financial controls.
• Experience leading financial processes, projects and cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly P&L and financial forecasting for the assigned business line.
• Prepare, review and analyze financial reports, identifying trends and risks.
• Support monthly and year-end close, ensuring timely delivery.
• Provide financial analysis related to contracts, revenue, costs, margins and profitability.
• Develop and maintain financial reporting dashboards and tools.
• Strengthen financial controls, reporting accuracy and operational effectiveness.
• Collaborate with Operations, Sales and other stakeholders on planning and decisions.
