SPS North America seeks a Controller to join our Pittsburgh team. You will partner with business leaders to translate financial data into actionable insights, drive profitability, and strengthen financial performance across the organization.

This role goes beyond traditional controllership, leading month-end close, forecasting, and P&L management, and identifying opportunities to improve margins, cost efficiency, and contract economics.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in accounting, financial reporting, month-end close, and P&L management.
• Commercially oriented finance professional who understands how operational decisions affect profitability.
• Proven track record of improving margins, cost savings, or revenue growth.
• Experience leading P&L reviews and partnering with business leaders.
• Experience with white space analysis to identify growth opportunities.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Big Four firm experience is a plus; prior work in large B2B services preferred.

Are you a finance professional who combines strong accounting expertise with a commercial mindset and a passion for improving business performance?

SPS North America is seeking a Controller to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA. This role goes beyond traditional controllership, offering the opportunity to partner with business leaders to improve profitability, strengthen financial performance, and uncover new opportunities for growth.

As a key Finance partner, you’ll help translate financial data into actionable business insights, challenge assumptions, and identify opportunities to improve margins and operational efficiency.

What you’ll do:

• Lead financial reporting, month-end close, forecasting, and P&L management.
• Lead weekly and monthly P&L reviews, identifying performance gaps and driving corrective actions with business partners.
• Identify opportunities to improve profitability through cost optimization, operational efficiencies, incremental revenue growth, and customer contract restructuring.
• Conduct white space analysis to uncover untapped revenue opportunities, improve margins, and support business growth.
• Partner with Operations, Sales, and Finance leadership to evaluate customer contract economics, revenue opportunities, and cost structures.
• Challenge business assumptions and turn financial analysis into practical recommendations that drive measurable results.
• Strengthen financial processes, reporting, and controls to support better decision-making and operational performance.

What we’re looking for:

• Strong experience in accounting, financial reporting, month-end close, and P&L management.
• A commercially oriented finance professional who understands how operational decisions affect profitability.
• Demonstrated success improving margins, identifying cost savings, generating incremental revenue, or optimizing customer contracts.
• Experience leading P&L reviews and partnering with business leaders to improve financial results.
• Experience conducting white space analysis or similar commercial analysis to identify growth opportunities.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience with a Big Four accounting firm (PwC, EY, KPMG, or Deloitte) is of interest, as is experience with a large B2B services organization where customer contracts, operational delivery, and margin performance are central to the business model.
