Job summary

Jobot is seeking a hands-on Controller to lead the accounting function and partner with leadership on financial strategy. You will own the close process, oversee a lean accounting team, and leverage numbers to inform pricing, investments, and growth initiatives.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, 8+ years of experience, and experience with ERP systems such as Epicor, NetSuite, Sage, or Dynamics. CPA preferred. On-site in Dallas, TX with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in accounting/finance roles.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Epicor, NetSuite, Sage, or Dynamics.
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
• Hands-on leader who can manage a small accounting team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end and year-end close and deliver clear, accurate financials to CFO and ownership.
• Oversee AP, AR, and payroll while staying hands-on when needed.
• Use financial data to guide pricing, investments, contracts, and growth decisions.
• Own budgeting, annual plan, rolling forecasts, and cash flow projections.
• Oversee cost accounting, inventory valuation, and margin analysis by product line and customer.
• Manage the annual audit and liaise with outside CPA firms.
• Ensure internal controls, audit readiness, and lender reporting.
