Jobot is seeking a Corporate Controller in Rochester, NY to lead all accounting operations and drive financial strategy. The role provides exposure to senior leadership and ownership across the accounting function, including budgeting, forecasting, and regulatory reporting.

The successful candidate will manage a broad scope, utilize Sage Intacct, and apply advanced Excel skills to improve accuracy and timeliness of financial reports.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Master’s or CPA is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in finance with strong accounting principles.
• Proven Financial Controller experience.
• Experience with financial statements, GL, and month-end close.
• Sage Intacct proficiency is required.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Detail-oriented with confidentiality.
• Demonstrated leadership and team development.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of bookkeeping and relevant regulations.
• Strong problem-solving and proactive mindset.
• Attention to quality and accuracy in work.

Mansioni

• Oversee all accounting operations including billing, A/R, A/P, GL, cost and inventory accounting, and revenue recognition.
• Coordinate budget creation and forecasts; report variances.
• Prepare and publish monthly financial statements in a timely manner.
• Coordinate regulatory reporting.
• Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Ensure internal controls and accurate financial reporting.
• Manage local, state, and federal tax filings and reporting.
• Develop and document accounting processes and policies.
• Liaise with Finance on issues and best practices.
• Use Sage Intacct to improve systems and reporting.
• Be tech-savvy and proficient in Excel for data analysis.
