Job summary

CRH's Midsouth Aggregates division seeks a strategic Controller in Georgia to partner with the executive team in Athens, Braselton, Duluth, and Suwanee. The role blends accounting leadership with business strategy, overseeing reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.

You will drive financial performance, support acquisitions and capital investments, ensure controls and compliance, and develop a high-performing finance team across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting or finance leadership experience.
• Strong business acumen and strategic decision-making capability.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive results.
• CPA and/or MBA preferred.
• Construction, manufacturing, industrial, or building materials experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with executive leadership to drive business performance and strategic growth.
• Lead financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and business analysis activities.
• Support acquisitions, capital investment decisions, and long-term planning initiatives.
• Ensure strong financial controls, compliance, and operational excellence.
• Identify opportunities to improve profitability, efficiency, and overall business performance.
• Develop, coach, and mentor a high-performing finance team.
