Job summary

Midsouth Aggregates, part of CRH's South Division, seeks an Assistant Controller to manage month-end close, general accounting, inventory, and financial planning for the Aggregates group. You will collaborate with operations and finance to ensure accurate reporting, strong controls, and insightful business analysis across multiple sites.

You'll lead a team, drive process improvements, and support audits, capital projects, and changes affecting the Aggregates segment, while promoting compliance,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Progressive accounting/finance experience with reporting, GL, close, budgeting and internal controls.
• Ability to partner with operations and leadership to translate data into insights.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities.
• Ensure complete, accurate, and timely financial reporting with strong controls.
• Support inventories, cost accounting, fixed assets, and capital projects across aggregates locations.
• Provide actionable financial analysis and business insights for leadership.
