Job summary

Midsouth Aggregates, part of CRH’s South Division, seeks an Assistant Controller, Aggregates to lead financial reporting, close processes, and internal controls for multiple aggregates locations in the Southeast. You will partner with operational leaders, drive performance analytics, and support capital projects and audits.

The role focuses on month‑end close, inventory and cost accounting, and FP&A activities, ensuring accurate reporting and strong financial controls across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Progressive accounting/finance experience including financial reporting and month‑end close.
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead month‑end close, general accounting, inventory and cost accounting.
• Prepare management reporting packages and communicate results.
• Maintain internal controls across Aggregates accounting processes.
