EOI Space in Lafayette, Colorado seeks an experienced Controller and Director of Finance to lead the Accounting and FP&A functions. In a player/coach role, you will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, partner with the CFO on strategic matters, and manage a growing accounting team, while coordinating with Kruze Consulting on monthly closes and tax matters.

Qualifikationen

• CPA certification required; Audit experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
• 8+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience including 3–4 years in a controller/leadership role
• Experience as Director or Controller in manufacturing/hardware/operational environment (aerospace/defense a plus)
• Hands-on with manufacturing accounting incl. inventory valuation methods and landed cost
• Strong expertise in inventory controls, cycle counting, and GL reconciliation
• Experience establishing/improving Procure-To-Pay, Fixed Assets, and manufacturing accounting processes
• Experience managing accounting teams and mentoring junior staff
• ERP systems experience (NetSuite preferred) and advanced Excel; ability to leverage AI for analysis
• GAAP compliance and external audit support

• Lead and mentor the accounting team across accounting and FP&A functions
• Own FP&A: budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, strategic modeling
• Direct accounting operations with Kruze Consulting for monthly/quarterly close
• Assess and optimize outsourced accounting activities
• Lead P2P, Fixed Assets, and manufacturing accounting processes
• Oversee inventory valuation, cycle counting, and production work order accounting
• Manage payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and cash forecasting
• Partner with Kruze for tax planning and R&D credits
• Coordinate with external auditors and ensure audit readiness
• Collaborate with Operations/Engineering/HR on financial analysis and headcount planning
