Job summary

Oscar Health, Inc. is seeking an Associate, Strategic Finance to join our FP&A team in Tempe, AZ. The role supports planning, analytics, and business insights across Corporate, Operations, and Technology divisions, reporting to the Senior Director of Strategic Finance & Corporate Development.

The position offers hybrid work with 3 in-office days weekly, base pay of $96,876–$127,149 annually, and eligibility for benefits, unlimited vacation, and annual bonuses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Actuarial or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years of finance experience including healthcare, consulting, insurance or financial services.
• 2+ years of experience with Google products (Sheets, Docs, Slides) or Microsoft equivalents.
• 2+ years of experience working with C-level executives.

Responsibilities

• Craft recommendations using a data-driven approach for pricing decisions that influence growth and bottom-line.
• Support build of models and tooling that produce relevant business insights, including competitive insights and scenario modeling.
• Collaborate with Actuarial, Regional Leaders, Plan Design and Sales teams to develop portfolio strategy for each Oscar market.
• Identify profitability tradeoffs, market trends, and membership insights to guide strategic decisions.
• Source, organize, and analyze data to support strategic programs in the team.
• Monitor ACA landscape trends to inform tactics during selling season.
• Report intra-year membership analytics to leadership.
