Job summary

Oscar Health, Inc. is seeking an Associate, Strategic Finance to join our FP&A team. The role supports financial planning, analytics, and business insights for Corporate, Operations, and Technology divisions.

You will work with Finance leaders on reviews, projections, and strategic partnerships, reporting to the Senior Director of Strategic Finance & Corporate Development. This remote position is open to candidates in Dallas, TX, with a possible hybrid model in the future.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Actuarial or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years of finance experience including healthcare, consulting, insurance or financial services.
• 2+ years of experience with Google products (Sheets, Docs and Slides).
• 2+ years of experience working with C-level executives.

Responsibilities

• Craft recommendations using a data-driven approach for senior executives to inform pricing decisions.
• Support build of models and tooling for business insights and scenario modeling.
• Collaborate with Actuarial, Regional Leaders, Plan Design and Sales teams on portfolio strategy.
• Identify profitability tradeoffs, market trends, and membership insights to guide strategic decisions.
• Source, organize, and analyze data to support strategic programs.
• Monitor ACA trends to inform tactics during selling season.
• Report intra-year membership analytics to leadership.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
