Job summary

Oscar Health is seeking a Senior Director of Strategic Finance and Enterprise Planning to lead the annual operating plan cycle and drive investment decisions. This role partners with Finance, Strategy, and business leaders to translate priorities into financial plans, targets, and executive-ready materials.

The position reports to the VP, FP&A and is based in Tempe with a hybrid schedule requiring three days in the office each week.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in finance, FP&A, or strategic finance.
• Experience with annual planning, budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, or capital allocation.
• Strong financial modeling and business case development skills.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual operating plan cycle with cross-functional partners to translate priorities into numbers.
• Evaluate investment opportunities and allocate resources to top initiatives.
• Build financial models, business cases, and decision frameworks for prioritization.
• Provide reporting and insights on plan performance, investment progress, risks, and opportunities for executives.
• Support executive discussions with concise recommendations.
• Improve planning accuracy, resource allocation, and investment discipline across the organization.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
