Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is seeking a Field Sales Manager to lead the plant sales team, drive revenue, and expand customer relationships with packaging and design solutions.

You will develop and execute sales plans, manage a team, negotiate contracts, and forecast performance while representing PCA’s product offerings and value proposition to clients across the territory. Travel is required and authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 10+ years of direct sales experience in corrugated packaging and packaging design.
• Experience in managing people including hiring, coaching, and performance development.
• Knowledge of market analysis, cost estimating, pricing, negotiation, and packaging design.
• Must be able to travel and have a valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute effective sales plans and programs for PCA products.
• Maintain solid relationships with customers and identify revenue opportunities.
• Set sales goals and manage territory or accounts.
• Build and develop a high-caliber sales team with guidance and training.
• Conduct forecasts, prepare quotes, and manage contracts and delivery.
• Resolve escalated customer service issues across involved departments.
